Louis S. Michael of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, graduated from Pennsylvania State College with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1925. He was a well known artist in furniture, metal fabrication, and painting with charcoals, oils, and pastels. Seven commissioned portraits are displayed at Penn State. From the description of Louis S.
